Pineapple is a tropical plant which is an edible fruit belongs to the family Bromeliaceae.This is a popular fruit which is filled with nutrients, anti - oxidents .Pineapple helps in aiding digestion process, boosts immunity level and helps for the speedy recovery from those under go surgery.Pineapple 
( Ananas Comosus ) is an delicious fruit.

Calories : 82.5 K Cal
Fat : 1.7 grams
Protein : 1 gram
Carbohydrates : 21.6 grams
Fiber : 2.3 grams
Vitamin C : 131% of the RDI
Manganese : 76 % of the RDI
Vitamn B6 : 9% of the RDI
Copper - 9% of the RDI
Thiamin : 9% of the RDI
Folate : 7 % of the RDI
Potassium:5% of the RDI
Magnesium:5% of the RDI
Niacin:4% of the RDI
Pantothenic Acid:4% of the RDI
Riboflavin:3% of the RDI

Pineapples are low in carbohydrates and are rich in Vitamin C and manganese. 
Ingredients

Pineapple - One Nos, Medium size
Sugar- Ten tablespoon
Cloves- Seven Nos
Lemon Juice- Juice of half lemon


Method of preparation

Take one medium size pineapple, chop into small pieces.
Put into the mixi jar and grind well.
Keep a heavy bottom vessel into the flame.
Add ten tablespoon of sugar, make it hot lightly.
Then add the grinded pineapple to it, stir well on medium flame.
Make sure to boil all the time on medium flame.
When sugar completely dissolved with the pineapple , and starts to reduce water, add seven crushed cloves to it.
Stir well until water completely dries off.
Then add juice of half lemon to prevent crystallisation of sugar.Stir well.
Once it starts to stick to fingers, take out from flame.
Allow to cool.When it cooled down, transfer the jam to an air tight container.
Store them in refrigerator for a month.
It is natural colour and preservative free jam.
Can prepare at home as in the same taste and texture like the one available in the shop.
If don't like the taste of clove, add cinnamon.
It gives special smell and taste to the jam.
