 Long Bean is also known as long - podded cowpea, asparagus bean , snake bean or Chinese long bean.Long beans are nutritious and delicious to any diet.They offer variety of health benefits including balancing blood sugar levels , improves digestion and reduces inflammation.They are the good source of vitamins and minerals to the body.It is rich in vitamin A,C, Potassium ans iron.These are the most weight loss friendly foods that you ca eat . They are high in protein and fiber but very low in calories .Protein and fiber are the  two most significant nutrients for weight loss.

Ingredients

Long Beans- One fistful
Big onion- One Nos
Green chilies- Two Nos
Coconut - Five tablespoon, freshly grated
Cumin seeds- Quarter teaspoon
Garlic - Two Nos
Turmeric powder- Quarter teaspoon
Coconut oil - Three tablespoon
Mustard seeds- Quarter teaspoon
Salt- As per taste
Water- As required


Method of preparation

Take a fistful of long beans, wash well and chop into thin pieces.
Add a chopped big onion and two green chilies too.
Into a pan, add three tablespoon of coconut oil ,
Once coconut oil heats up, add quarter teaspoon of mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds pop up, add a stick of fresh curry leaves.
Now add chopped long beans, big onion and chilies to it.
Add salt for taste and little water , to cook long beans well.
Cover and cook on medium flame.
Now to a mixi jar, add five tablespoon of freshly grated coconut,
Quarter teaspoon of cumin seeds, two garlic , quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder,
And a stick of fresh curry leaves, crush well.
Add prepared mix , to the long beans , stir well.
Cover and cook again until long beans cooked well and then the raw taste of coconut mix goes off.
Serve with hot rice or porridge.
