Balsam or Impatiens balsamina is a species of plant which is native to India and Myanmar.
It is an annual growing plant to 20 to 70  cm tall witha a thick , but soft stem.There are different varieties of plants with flowering color of pink, red, purple ,liliac,white and so on.The plant, its stem, root, leaves, flowers and seeds has got various medicinal value.

Method Of Preparation

Pick four red color balsam flowers from the garden.
Keep two glass water for boiling.
Add four red balsam flowers for two glass of water.
Donot add more flowers to the water.
After boiling add a teaspoon of crushed ginger and cloves to the water .
Add a teaspoon of sugar if needed , sugar is optional .
Wash flowers thoroughly and add to the boiling water.
Immediately after adding the flowers, the color from the flowers dissolve in water.
Once the color of the flowers changes, switch off the flame.
Then add two tender leaves from the plant to the tea.
Cover for two to three minutes.
Then strain through the strainer and enjoy cup of tea.
This tea has medicinal value for bloating , cough and throat pain.
And best medicine for various skin diseases.
Have this tea during balsom flowering season and during skin diseases.

Balsom Flower- Four Nos
Water - Two Cups
Sugar - One teaspoon
Ginger - One teaspoon
Cloves - One teaspoon
Tender leaves of the balsom plant - Two Nos
