Spicy Chicken Curry || Kerala Style || Ep No :145

 Here is the recipe of spicy chicken curry in Kerala style.This delicious curry goes well with any of the main dishes.



Method Of Preparation

Switch on the flame and keep a  pan.

To the heated pan add two tablespoon of coconut oil .

When oil gets hot, add one stick fresh curry leaves.

Then add five grinded medium size onion.

Saute well until it changes it's color.

To the washed and cleaned one kg chicken, add a teaspoon salt

Add one tablespoon of red chili powder,one tablespoon kashmiri red chili powder , three fourth tablespoon of coriander powder.

Half tablespoon turmeric powder , one pinch roasted cumin powder , quarter tablespoon of pepper  powder and one tablespoon of garam masala.

Add two sticks of fresh curry leaves and mix well.

When onion starts changing color , add grinded paste of four garlic bulbs, paste of big piece of ginger.

Add four green chilies , mix well and saute altogether.

Then add two tomatoes and stir well until soft.

Add one and half tablespoon of red chili powder,two tablespoon of kashmiri red chili powder , quarter tablespoon of turmeric powder, one tablespoon of coriander powder and two tablespoon of meat masala, mix well.

Add salt to the mix and then add marinated chicken pieces, mix well.

Add some water , four sticks fresh curry leaves , cover and cook well.

Then add hot water to dip chicken pieces , cook well on low flame.

After that check cooking level of chicken , and switch off the flame.

Add six leaves of African coriander too.

Serve with appam, porotta or even with rice.

Coconut Oil - Two Tablespoon

Fresh Curry Leaves -Seven Sticks 

Onion - Five Nos

Chicken - One Kg

Dry Red Chili Powder - Two And Half Tablespoon 

Kashmiri Red Chili Powder - Three Tablespoon

Coriander Powder - Two Tablespoon

Turmeric Powder - Half quarter

Pepper Powder - Quarter Tablespoon

Garam Masala - One Tablespoon

Garlic - Four Bulbs

Ginger - One Big Piece

Green Chilies Four Nos

Tomatoes - Two Nos

Meat Masala - Two Tablespoon

Salt - As Per Taste

Water - As Required

African Coriander Leaves - Six Nos
