Spicy Chicken Curry || Kerala Style || Ep No :145

 Here is the recipe of spicy chicken curry in Kerala style.This delicious curry goes well with any of the main dishes. Method Of Preparation Switch on the flame and keep a  pan. To the heated pan add two tablespoon of coconut oil . When oil gets hot, add one stick fresh curry leaves. Then add five grinded medium size onion. Saute well until it changes it's color. To the washed and cleaned one kg chicken, add a teaspoon salt Add one tablespoon of red chili powder,one tablespoon kashmiri red chili powder , three fourth tablespoon of coriander powder. Half tablespoon turmeric powder , one pinch roasted cumin powder , quarter tablespoon of pepper  powder and one tablespoon of garam masala. Add two sticks of fresh curry leaves and mix well. When onion starts changing color , add grinded paste of four garlic bulbs, paste of big piece of ginger. Add four green chilies , mix well and saute altogether.   The cowpea is an annual herbaceous legume belongs to the genus vigna.It requires very few inputs, as the plant's root nodules are able to fix atmospheric nitrogen .The crop mainly grown for its seeds , which are high in protein, although the leaves and immature seed pods can also be consumed. Method Of Preparation Take two bundles of cow pea , collect the beans from it and chop the younger peas.ash well Wash well under running water for three to four times and keep it in an earthen pot. In a mixi jar , add four tablespoon of coconut , two shallots , three garlic , ten birds eye chilies , quarter teaspoon of cumin seeds, quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder and a stick of fresh curry leaves. Crush without adding water. Switch on the flame and the cowpeas , add salt and mix well  . Add grinded mix , cover and cook on high flame. Once cowpeas cooked well , switch off the flame .
