 The grey sharpnose shark , Rhizoprionodon oligolinx is a shark family Carcharhinidae.It is found in the tropical water of the Indo- west pacific oceans .The diet of the grey sharpnose shark consists of crustaceans, fishes and cephalopods.It is killed for human consumption , fresh or dried and salted.It is considered to be harmless to people.



Method Of Cleaning
Take one kilograms of milk shark, wash under running water.
Remove head , tail and its fins.
Then put the fish in hot water and clean the skin.
Gently scrub the skin with the knife, so that sand like deposition over the shark goes off.
Or else need to remove the skin fully, as it is young shark , it is difficult to peel skin.
Another method is to dip shark on hot water and then scrub on a clean stone to remove sand like structure.
Make a cut laterally and remove its intestine , clean well.
The one which has an extended extra fin like structure on either sides is considered as male shark.
The skin should try to peel from the head end towards download .
It is easy if it is big fish more than one kilograms weight.
After cleaning scrub well with salt and on earthen pot.
Then clean under running water for three to four times.
Take a heavy chopping wood and cut fish into pieces.
The knife should be sharp enough to cut the fish as the skin is very thick.
All cut into pieces for making curry.
