Simple Rice || With Big Chili || Lunch Box Recipe || Ep No : 127




Rice is a staple food for Indians.There are lot of variety delicious rice recipes are prepared in Indian Kitchen.Rice is being prepared almost every day in Indian houses especially during Lunch and Dinner.

 Method Of Preparation

Switch on the flame and keep a pan, add 2 tablespoon full of ghee.
When ghee heats up add one sliced onion and three green chilies, stir well.
Add salt and stir well till onion turns golden brown color.
Then add some cashew nuts and dry grapes and roast along with it.
When it is roasted well, take out from the pan and keep them separately aside.
Again to the same pan add 2 tablespoon full of pure ghee and add half kilograms of washed, soaked for twenty minutes and drained basmathi rice.
Roast rice in ghee till it is crispy.
Now add crushed one small piece cinnamon, 3 cardamoms,and one tablespoon of fennel seeds.
Mix well with rice and add half cup of soaked green peas.
 Mix again and add hot water to cook the rice.
For two glass rice add four and quarter glass of hot water.
Add salt for the rice.
Add a teaspoon of pineapple essence and one tablespoon of biriyani masala.
Cover and cook rice on high flame initially.
When rice boils, reduce flame and cook till water completely dry off.
Check cooking level of rice  and salt.
Add salt water to the rice if it is required here after instead of adding salt powder.
Now add roasted onion, green chilies,cashew nuts and dry grapes to it.
Mix well with the rice gently.
Cover and cook for 3 minutes on medium flame.
Switch off the flame and serve with chicken curry, salad, papad and pickle.


Ingredients
Onion - One Nos
Ghee - Four Tablespoon
Green Chili - 3 Nos
Cashew Nuts - 10 to 12 Nos
Dry Grapes - 15 Nos
Basmathi Rice - Half Kilograms
Green Peas - One Cup
Pine apple Essence - One Teaspoon
Cinnamon - One Small Piece
Cardamom - Three Nos
Fennel Seeds - One Teaspoon
Biriyani Masala - One Tablespoon
Water  - Four and Quarter Glass 
Salt - As Per Taste
