Chakka Puzhukku || Mashed Jackfruit ||Kerala Style || Ep No : 105
Method Of Preparation:
Take raw jackfruit, remove seeds and chop round wise.
Trasnsfer to an earthenpot , add one and half glass of water.
Switch on the flame and cook on medium flame.
In a mixi jar , take 4 tablespoon of grated coconut ,quarter teaspoon of cumin powder, a pinch of turmeric powder,15 pepper corns and half teaspoon of red chili powder .
Add some water and grind it.
Add 2 sticks of curry leaves and crush it.
Once jackfruit cooked well, add salt and the prepared mix and cook well.
Mash jackfruit well and switch off the flame.
Serve with hot rice , ozhichu koottan and fish prepared in coconut gravy.
