Oats is a whole grain food. It's scientific name is Avena Sativa.The highly processed oats are known as quick or instant oats. Others takes longer period to cook. Oats contain high fiber, so it's great for digestion. Oats helps in relieving constipation. One cup of oats consists of 4 grams of fiber. And hence this is an ideal dish for breakfast. Even can include fruits or nuts for increasing fiber value for breakfast. But excess intake of oats results in bloating. To reduce side effects start with less amount initially and then slowly increase the quantity till reaching the desired amount. The body will take some time to adjust with the oats bran.

Take one and half glass of water.

When water gets hot, add 2 tablespoon of oats.

Stir well, bring to boil.

When oats is cooked well, add one tablespoon of sugar.

Stir well.

Add quarter glass milk, stir well, bring to boil.

When it heats up, add 2 crushed cardamoms to it, bring to boil, switch off the flame.

Serve hot.

Oats - 2 Tablespoons Sugar - One Tablespoon Milk - Quarter Glass Cardamoms - 2Nos

Water - One And Half Glass
