Guava Salad|| Healthy , Sweet And Spicy Guava Salad || No Cooking ||Fruit Salad || Episode No :27

This is a spicy , sweety, salty and sour vibrant guava salad.It has an incredible flavors of Indian spices.This is a very healthy fruit salad prepared with guava, shallots, green chilies and lemon juice.Prepare and serve with lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

Guava - 1 Nos
Shallots - 10 Nos
Green Chilies - 2 Nos
Coriander leaves - A handful
Lemon juice- Juice of a half lemon
Roaster Cumin powder - Quarter teaspoon
Dry red chili powder - Quarter teaspoon
Whole Pepper - 5 Nos
Chat masala - Half teaspoon
Sugar - Quarter teaspoon
Salt - As per taste



Method of preparation

Take one fresh bright colored guava
After washing peel guava with a peeler
Its not necessary to remove the skin of guava,but if you removes the skin , it gives a better taste
Remove the hard portions of top and bottom part  with knife
Here I use the pink colored guava, but you can use the white one too .Both tastes entirely different.
Cut the guava lengthwise thinly and then chop into small pieces
Take 10 shallots, 2 green chilies and some coriander leaves and a lemon
Chop shallots lengthwise, slice green chilies, chop coriander leaves and cut lemon into two halves
Transfer chopped guava , shallots,green chilies and coriander leaves into the bowl
Add quarter teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, quarter teaspoon of dry red chili powder
Take 5 whole pepper, crush well and add to the bowl
Add a pinch of salt and half teaspoon chat masala
Add juice of half lemon and quarter teaspoon sugar 
Mix well
Check the salt level and add if its required
Finally check the taste and spice level
Keep salad to rest for half an hour and transfer to a serving plate

Its an yummy and tasty guava salad which is rich in vitamins and antioxidants
Its a great recipe for weight loss
This is a different salad which can be served to the guests
