Long Bean is also known as long - podded cowpea, asparagus bean , snake bean or Chinese long bean.Long beans are nutritious and delicious to any diet.They offer variety of health benefits including balancing blood sugar levels , improves digestion and reduces inflammation.They are the good source of vitamins and minerals to the body.It is rich in vitamin A,C, Potassium ans iron.These are the most weight loss friendly foods that you ca eat . They are high in protein and fiber but very low in calories .Protein and fiber are the two most significant nutrients for weight loss.
Method Of Preparation
Take 250 grams of fresh long beans , wash , chop into long pieces .
Add two green chilies too.
Switch on the flame and keep a pan.
Add two tablespoon of coconut oil.
When oil gets hot add half teaspoon mustard seeds.
Then add a stick of fresh curry leaves.
Now add the chopped long beans along with green chilies.Stir well.
Now add quarter teaspoon salt and stir well.
Once water content in the pea reduces , cover and cook for two minutes.
Then add quarter cup of water , mix well.
Cover and cook on low flame.
Stir in between.
Cook till the long beans are soft .
Make them dry and switch off the flame.
Serve with hot rice or porridge.

Long Beans - 250 Grams
Green Chilies - Two Nos
Coconut Oil - Two Tablespoon
Mustard Seeds - Quarter Teaspoon
Fresh Curry Leaves- One Stick
Salt - As Per Taste
Water - Quarter Glass
