Papadam Thoran || Papad Stir Fry || Ep No :91
Papad is made of urad dhal. It can be called urad dhal flat bread. The papad is basically saute with spicy coconut mixture. It should be served with hot rice immediately after preparing the dish.
Take 5 papads, cut lengthwise, then cut into square pieces.
In a mixi jar take 5 tablespoon of grated coconut, 4 shallots,quarter teaspoon cumin seeds, half teaspoon red chili powder , salt for taste, crush altogether without adding water.
Switch on the flame and keep a pan , add 2 tablespoon of coconut oil.
When it gets hot, add quarter teaspoon of mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds splutters , add chopped papads, fry well.
When papads fried well, add prepared mix and stir until taste goes off.
When it mixed well with papad and dried well,switch off the flame and serve hot with rice.

Papad - 5 Nos
Grated Coconut - 5 Tablespoon
Cumin Seeds - Quarter Teaspoon
Shallots - 4 Nos
Red Chili Powder - Half Tablespoon
Salt -As Per Taste
Coconut Oil - 2 Tablespoon
Mustard Seeds - Quarter Teaspoon
