Valli Kozhiyala Meen Varuthathu || Horse Mackerel Fish Fry || Ep No: 80
Take 500 grams of Horse Mackerel, wash and drain well.
In a mixi jar , add one and half tablespoon of dry red chili powder, quarter teaspoon turmeric powder , one tablespoon salt , 10 shallots and 25 garlic.
Crush well , add some water and half tablespoon pepper powder, grind and make fine paste.
Marinate fish pieces and allow to rest for half an hour.
Keep a pan and switch on the flame.
Add 6 tablespoon of coconut oil .
When oil gets hot, put all fish pieces , fry on low flame.
Turn the fish pieces when one side fried well.
Flip again on both sides and fry well.
When fish pieces fried well, switch off the flame , serve with hot rice .

Horse Mackerel -500 grams
Dry Red chili Powder - One and Half Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - Quarter Teaspoon
Pepper Powder - Half Tablespoon
Shallots - 10 Nos
Garlic - 25 Nos
Salt - As Per Taste
Water - As Required
