 Nenmara Vellanghy Vela is a festival of Nellikulangara Bhagavathy Temple. Nenmara and vellanghy are two neighboring villages at the valley of Nelliyampathi hills. The paddy fields of these villages are turned to festival place after harvesting. The festival is on April 2nd or 3rd of every year. The flag raise for the festival on first of Malayalam calender Meenam month. The celebration continues for 20 days and the final day is the fire work. It is the festival of colors.
